Solbern Model PTF-DPG "direct filler" is the "Delicate Product" version
of the versatile PTF particulate filler, manufacturer rated for gentle
handling and gradual filling to pack whole, sliced, diced and chunky
products into cans or jars; filling them completely or partially;
even
if they are not free flowing. The Solbern Tumble Filler is configured
to shake while progressively filling, so as to orient the product
within the container to achieve uniform fill density. Manufacturer
brochure recommends for products including asparagus (cut), beans
(cut), beets (whole, cut, sliced and diced), carrots (cut, sliced,
diced or whole baby carrots), corn (whole kernel), dried and soaked
beans, lima beans, mixed vegetables, peas, spices, mushrooms (while
and/or sliced), potatoes (whole small, cut, sliced and diced), squash
(cut, sliced, and diced), sweet potatoes (cut, sliced and diced),
tomatoes (peeled, stewed and diced), yams, apples (wedged, cut, diced),
apricots (whole, halved, cut, diced), berries, cherries, figs, raisins,
dates, grapes, orange and grapefruit sections, peaches (halves and
slices), pears (halves), olives, plums, pet-food chunks and
